About
Community colleges are the most common type of U.S. two-year colleges—and for over 100 years, they've been offering millions of students a better way to reach their goals (whether that goal is to get a good career fast, or to get a better, more affordable start to a bachelor’s degree by transferring credits on to a four-year school).
Faculty and staff of Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana hold to the idea that the students are very important and are the main reasons why faculty and staff decide to be in student-service positions (doing whatever it takes to make the college experience a more enriching one for the students); they are helping the community to become a better place, as they help students make it possible to better themselves and create a better community.
